AI design agency for SaaS and AI startups

AI-native product, web and brand design for funded SaaS and AI startups. Senior designers who make AI products clear, and use Claude to ship faster.

Designed for AI teams like

What we design for

What changes when the product is AI.

An AI product has to design for the wrong answer as carefully as the right one. These are the parts we spend the most time on.

  • The job, not the model

Headlines that say what gets done and for whom. "AI-powered" stopped being a value proposition a while ago.

  • The product working, on screen

The input, the output and the time saved, shown with real product moments instead of glowing orbs.

  • Room for the wrong answer

Sources, confidence cues, easy edits and a clear way back, so people keep trusting it when it slips.

  • The agent next to the work

In Quotient the work sits in the middle and the agent on the right, ready to draft, expand or schedule.

  • Every state of the chat

For Zinq AI’s assistant we designed each state, from the empty chat to an answer with a file attached.

  • A brand that isn’t another AI tool

Purple gradients and sparkles make every AI startup look the same. We build on what yours does that others can’t.

Our process

How an AI launch runs.

Brand, website and product designed as one, in about 8 weeks. Coloured bars are our work, grey ones are yours. Point at a step to see what you keep.

Brand, website and MVPKickoff to launch
  1. Week 1

    • Kickoff You: One call on the product, what the AI does, who buys it and what the launch needs.
    • Product access You: A demo or the prototype, the model’s real outputs, and the questions buyers ask most.
    • Brand refresh Brand: Directions for the mark, type and colour, then one system built on what your AI does that others can’t.
    • Flows and AI states Product: The core journeys, then every state around the AI: empty, thinking, answer, wrong answer and edit.
  2. Week 2

    • Story and structure Website: What the AI does in one line, the pages buyers need, and where the data and security answers live.
  3. Week 3

    • Brand OK You: You pick the direction and sign off the mark, type and colour.
  4. Week 4

    • Flows OK You: You sign off the product flows and the site structure, with your engineers on what the data allows.
    • Website design and build Website: The site in high fidelity with the product on screen, built in Framer, Webflow, Astro or Next.js.
    • Product UI and system Product: Every MVP screen you need, plus the components your engineers build from.
  5. Week 5

    • Week 6

      • Notes You: Your notes on each round of the site and the product screens.
    • Week 7

      • Launch video Brand: A 1-minute launch film that shows the product working, made for launch day.
    • Week 8

      • Launch You: The site goes live, and the Figma files and brand guide are yours.

    AI-native, on our own site

We moved our own site to code with Claude.

In October 2026 we rebuilt designme.agency in Astro, and now we change it by asking Claude. 91 changes were merged in the first six days, most of them from one sentence.

    How a change ships
    1. Ask

A change starts as a request in plain words to Claude.

    2. Preview

Claude edits the code and we check a preview of the page.

    3. Ship

It goes live only after a clean build and a person’s OK.

Questions about working with an AI design agency

    Adrian

    Building an AI product?

Send us the product, where it is today and what the launch needs. We’ll help you map the right scope, team, timeline, and next steps.

What is an AI design agency?

An AI design agency designs brands, websites and products for companies whose product is AI, and uses AI in its own work. DesignMe does both: we design AI products for funded SaaS and AI startups such as Quotient, Datawizz, Zinq AI and Chariot (formerly Gan.ai), and we work with Claude to research, prototype and ship faster.

    What does AI-native design mean?

For us it means two things. The product is designed around what the AI does, including its wrong answers: sources, confidence cues, edits and every state of the chat. And the team works with AI by default: our own site lives in code, and most changes to it start as one sentence to Claude.

Which AI companies have you designed for?

Quotient (an agentic marketing platform), Datawizz (specialised language models, $12.5M seed), Zinq AI (an AI operating layer for real estate investment firms), Chariot, formerly Gan.ai (AI video and voice), Hint (an AI travel guide) and Seamless.AI (sales intelligence with 1M+ users). Each has a case study on this site.

How do you design UX for AI products?

We design for the wrong answer as carefully as the right one. That means showing sources, signalling confidence, making edits easy, keeping a clear way back, and designing every state of the AI: empty, thinking, answering, failing and editing. In Quotient, for example, the agent sits beside the work, so people can always edit what it drafts.

Are you an AI web design agency too?

Yes. We design and build websites for AI startups in Framer, Webflow, Astro and Next.js. An AI startup site needs a headline about the job rather than the model, the product working on screen, and clear answers on data, models and security. Datawizz’s Framer site scores 99/100 on Google PageSpeed Insights.

How do you use AI in your design work?

We use AI for research, UX exploration, flow mapping, content, QA and edge-case thinking, and we build clickable prototypes with Claude. The final decisions stay with senior designers. Our own site runs on Astro and is edited with Claude: a typical page edit went from 3 to 5 hours in Framer to 10 to 15 minutes.

How much does an AI design agency cost?

At DesignMe, a one-off project starts from $10k: brand from $10k to $20k, a website from $15k (a landing page from $10k) and product design from $10k. Brand, website and MVP together are $35k. Ongoing work is on the Design plan from $6,000 a month, with 10% off for funded startups.

How fast can you launch an AI startup?

A refreshed brand and landing page go live in 2 to 4 weeks. Brand, website and MVP designed as one take 4 to 8 weeks. For Chariot (formerly Gan.ai), the new website launched in 8 weeks and became Product of the Week on Product Hunt.

Can you clean up an MVP built with AI coding tools?

Yes. Our AI MVP cleanup turns prototypes built with Cursor, Lovable, Bolt or v0 into products users trust: we audit what exists, decide what to keep, refactor, redesign or rebuild, and clean up the UX, UI, frontend and backend logic.

Can you build what you design?

Yes. The same team designs and builds: websites in Framer, Webflow, Astro or Next.js, and product frontends in React and Next.js. On the Design + Development plan, designs ship as working code.
