About the project

Zinq AI is an operating layer for commercial real estate investment firms: one data layer over their deals, assets, investors and entities, with AI agents doing the back-office work.

Zinq came to us for a pitch deck and a refresh of its brand. Two weeks in, we took on the website, the product and the sales material too. In September 2026 Zinq announced a strategic investment and partnership from Stockdale Capital Partners.

Zinq AI homepage hero: The AI transformation platform for CRE investment firms, over a city skyline at sunset

The challenge

Real estate investment firms have heard the AI pitch before. Zinq had to look like serious capital and modern software at once, and explain a platform that touches every team in a firm.

One platform, many jobs
Capital formation, acquisitions, asset management and fund operations all sit on the same layer, and the story had to stay simple.
A careful buyer
Institutional firms judge trust before features, so the brand and the product had to feel calm and precise.
Everything at once
Deck, brand, website and product moved in parallel, so one system had to hold all of them.

The brand

We explored the identity in three rounds: three directions first, then the Z mark in several colours, then the chosen mark in three shades of blue.

The Z mark won: two slanted strokes that form the letter. The current guide sets it in copper and steel blue on near-black and warm grey, with Archivo for headlines and JetBrains Mono and Inter beside it.

Round 1: three directions, A, B and C

Brand exploration A: an asterisk mark and the wordmark ZinqAi in white on a teal gradient
Brand exploration B: a Z made of two slanted strokes next to the wordmark Zinq in pale green on dark green
Exploration B in a second colourway: the Z mark and Zinq in white on a coral to violet gradient
Brand exploration C: a blocky N-shaped mark and the wordmark Zinq in white on black

Round 2: the Z mark, refined

Round 2, version B2: a heavier Z mark and Zinq Ai in white on a bright blue gradient
Round 2, version B3: the Z drawn as three stacked strokes, on deep blue, violet and white panels
Round 2, version B4: the two-stroke Z with a light gradient, Zinq Ai in white on dark teal
Round 2, version B4: a large cut-out of the Z shape on dark teal with the logo in the corner

Round 3: the chosen mark in three blues

Round 3: the Zinq AI logo in white on a deep royal blue
Round 3: the Zinq AI logo in white on a mid ocean blue
Round 3: the Zinq AI logo in white on a dark teal blue
Round 3: two posters in a dark room, a glass tower with the line Cut your costs, not your potential, and the Zinq AI logo on a blue gradient

Brand guide assets: a steel blue sign with the Zinq AI logo on a concrete wall
Brand guide assets: steel blue business cards with the Z mark and a placeholder name

The website

The homepage took six rounds. Each kept the same story and worked on one idea: how to show an intelligence layer that sits over everything a firm already does.

It started as a city skyline and a headline for asset managers. From there we tried the layer as cards, as a diagram on copper, as a dark architectural scene, and finally as one map of four teams over a single data layer.

Round 1: a headline for asset managers

Round 2: your data is everywhere

Round 2 section, light: Your data is everywhere. Intelligence is nowhere, next to the Z mark linked to Legal, Tax, Fund Admin, Treasury and Accounting cardsRound 2 section, dark: the same headline over a dark architectural photo with the Z mark connected to five teams

Round 3: the data layer on copper

Round 3 section: the Z mark between team tags and a data layer of documents and entity data, on a copper gradientRound 3 section, dark: five team cards over the Z mark on a dark architectural background

Round 4: agents on top, data underneath

Round 4 section: A Customized Layer of AI-Agents to Build Compounding Efficiencies Across your Firm, with five agents above a data layerRound 4 section: the agent cards and the data layer laid over a photo of a copper building facade

Round 5: the agentic layer

Round 5 section: A platform of purpose-built AI agents to drive efficiencies across your firm, with the diagram on a light copper gradientRound 5 section, dark: the same agentic layer diagram over a dark architectural photo

Round 6: three colourways for the full page

Round 6, black colourway: the use case section with filter tabs and photos of buildings and an officeRound 6, light colourway: the same use case section on warm greyRound 6, steel blue colourway: the same use case section on the brand blue

The final homepage

The final page puts the whole platform in one picture: an AI intelligence layer over capital formation, asset management, acquisitions and fund operations, all on one data layer.

Below it, the page walks through the product categories and how Zinq works with a firm, in the copper, steel blue and warm grey of the brand.

Final homepage section: Purpose built AI products for the principle domains of CRE investment firms, with three photo cards

The product

The web app came first in a cool blue. We moved it into the brand's warm greys and copper, with quieter tables and clearer status tags.

Every team starts from the same overview: open workflows, entity compliance, live deals and the hours the agents saved. From there each deal opens into its property, documents and related entities.

Redesign: Zinq AI deals overview with pipeline stages and a table of sample dealsFirst look: Zinq AI deals overview with pipeline stages and a table of sample deals
Zinq AI overview: active workflows, an entity compliance score of 78, a deals table and an hours saved chart, with the Zinq Agent chat bar
Deal page for a sample entity: building photos, a map, deal details, recent documents and related entities
Deal documents: a folder tree on the left and folders of financials, tax and agreements, and invoices

The AI assistant

The assistant sits at the bottom of every screen as one chat bar. It answers questions across the firm's data and can attach the files it works with.

We designed each of its states, from the empty chat to an answer with a file attached.

Zinq AI assistant: a conversation about setting up a new company entity and choosing between an LLC and a C-Corp
Zinq AI assistant: the same conversation ending with an organisation chart PDF attached to the answer

Pitch and sales decks

The deck started the project. The Figma file holds many rounds of it since, from the pitch to sales decks that explain the platform in a few slides.

The intelligence layer slide went through several colourways before it settled into the same picture as the homepage.

Deck slide: The AI Operating System for Real Estate Investment, with the intelligence layer diagram in greyDeck slide, second version: the same diagram in steel blueDeck slide, third version: the diagram with copper, blue and green team cardsDeck slide, fourth version: the diagram with yellow, green and orange team cards
Sales deck cover: One system that runs across your whole firm, over a city skyline at sunset
Sales deck slide: Built for how CRE firms actually work, broker mails flowing through Zinq into an investment summarySales deck slide: Your data is private and unique to you, three panels on privacy, your own cloud and no training

LinkedIn and social

For LinkedIn we made a kit in the new brand: banners, single posts and carousels.

The posts show the work the agents take off a team's plate, not the model behind them.

LinkedIn post: CRE firms scale AUM without scaling overhead, with a See how buttonLinkedIn post on copper: AI impact on back-office workflows, without AI agents versus with Zinq AILinkedIn post, dark version: AI impact on back-office workflows over an architectural photo
LinkedIn carousel cover: AI Use Cases for CRE Investment Firms over a curved glass buildingLinkedIn carousel slide: Legal Intelligence, review documents before they slow deals down

Motion

We storyboarded the product animations frame by frame: documents turning into structured data, and deals moving through agentic workflows.

For the website we also drew a small search sequence, where a question pulls files in and returns grouped results.

Storyboard, Structured Data Layer, frame 1: an empty document on a dark pageStoryboard, frame 5: NDA clauses lifted out of the document as tagged cardsStoryboard, last frame: one clause opened with its definition and flags
