FAQ
DesignMe vs Baked Design: questions
How much does Baked Design cost?
Baked Design has no price list on its site; it sets the plan with you on a short call. Prices it has shared in public have ranged from about $2,300 to $12,000 a month, and YC companies get 10% off. DesignMe lists ours: monthly plans $5,900 to $11,900 a month, and fixed projects such as a website from $15k.
Do both offer startup discounts?
Yes. Baked Design gives any YC company 10% off every month. DesignMe gives seed-stage teams backed by YC, a16z or another institutional investor 10% off monthly plans, hourly packages and startup packages.
Who is Baked Design a better fit for?
Startups, especially YC companies, that want a senior design partner working async in Slack with next-day reviews. Baked Design says small one-off jobs are less of a fit, since it works on monthly plans.
How much does DesignMe cost?
Monthly plans run $5,900 to $11,900 a month, or 10% less billed quarterly. Fixed projects: a website from $15k, brand identity $10k to $20k, product design from $10k, and startup packages at $16k, $25k and $40k. The exact scope and price are agreed on a call before anything starts.
