DesignMe is a design and development agency whose whole team works at its HQ in Gdańsk, Poland, on the same clock as Berlin. There is no German office. Berlin startups and scale-ups bring us in as an extension of their own team for brand identity, websites, digital product design, pitch decks and motion. Almedia, the Berlin company behind Freecash, is a client, and we designed zave.it, the Nuremberg cashback app with 6,000+ App Store ratings that Almedia bought in 2025. Every German sitemap we plan has its Impressum.

Three rules we plan for every German website
Each one changes the sitemap or the build, so we settle it before design starts, not in launch week.
Impressum (§5 DDG)
A commercial site must name who runs it: company, address, email, register and VAT number, easy to find and always available.
Accessibility (BFSG)
Since 28 June 2025, e-commerce services for consumers must be accessible. Micro-enterprises that provide services are exempt.
AI Act transparency
From 2 August 2026, a chatbot on a German site must make clear that visitors are talking to an AI, unless that is obvious.
We design and build to these rules. We are not lawyers: your legal or compliance team signs off on the wording.

Questions, before you book
Do you have an office in Berlin?
No. Everyone at DesignMe works from our HQ in Gdańsk, Poland, and our partners are in London. Gdańsk keeps Berlin time, so Berlin teams work with us by video, Slack, Figma and GitHub inside one working day.
Do you work with German companies?
Yes. Almedia, the Berlin company behind Freecash, is a client: we work on its product design. We also designed the brand, app and website for zave.it, a Nuremberg cashback app with 6,000+ App Store ratings, before Almedia bought it in August 2025.
Can you come to Berlin?
Yes, for UX workshops and kickoffs. Berlin is a short trip from Gdańsk, so we can be in your office for a day and work remotely the rest of the time.
Do you work in German?
No. We work in English, in calls, Slack threads, Figma comments and documents. If you need German pages, your team or a translator writes the German copy, and we design and build around it.
Will our new site meet the Impressum and BFSG rules?
As far as design and build go, yes: the Impressum page and your accessibility information are in the sitemap from the start, and we build to WCAG 2.2 AA, testing with a keyboard, contrast checks and screen readers. Whether the BFSG covers your service, and the legal wording itself, are for your lawyer.
Can you invoice in euros?
Yes. Our prices are published in US dollars, and we invoice in euros, US dollars, pounds or Canadian dollars, whichever suits you.
What does it cost to work with DesignMe?
Design or development starts at $6,000 a month, and full design and development starts at $10,000 a month. SEO and AEO or CRO add from $3,000 a month each. Fixed projects start with a $2,500 UX audit, and our launch packages run from $15k.
